Toshiba DKT and EKT series phones can be broken and unrepairable if they are abused or hit hard enough to crack the main board. Most cracks are severe and create dozens of broken tracings that are very difficult to trace down or repair in any way. The main board will also be weakened by any size crack and increase the chance of future problems. These cracks will frequently cause a Toshiba phone to be unrepairable.
