Executone M-Series Quick Reference

ACCOUNT CODE
bulletWhile an outside line is in progress, press the ACCOUNT key.
bulletEnter the account code up to 10 digits.
bulletIf you entered less than 10 digits, press the ACCOUNT key.

 

ADD ON
bulletPlace the first call.
bulletPress the ADD ON key.
bulletPlace the next call.
bulletPress the ADD ON key.
bulletContinue placing calls and pressing the ADD ON key until all parties are added to conference.
bulletThen press the ADD ON key to add yourself.

CALL FORWARD
bulletLift the handset.
bulletPress the CALL FORWARD key.
bulletDial the destination exension number for day mode.  The LED blinks.  If the LED does not blink, the system is in the night mode.
OR
bulletDial 5 and the destination extension number for night mode.  The LED blinks.  If the LED does not blink the system is in the day mode.

 

CALL FORWARD TO VMS
bulletLift the handset.
bulletDial 7*3 for day mode.
OR
bulletDial 7*5 for night mode.

 

CANCEL CALL FORWARD
bulletWithout lifting the handset, press the blinking CALL FORWARD key.
OR
bulletDial 7** for day mode and 7*9 for night mode.


CALL PICKUP
bulletLift the handset.
bulletDial 2.
bulletDial the ringing extension number.


CALL VIA 2ND PATH
bulletLift the handset.
bulletDial the desired extension number (called extension must be a Display/Data, Model 32, or Model 64 telephone).
bulletDial 3.
bulletSpeak to the called party.

 

CALL VMS
bulletLift the handset.
bulletPress the VMS key, or dial 4 plus the 2-digit VMS hunt group number (usually 36).
bulletWhen the voice mail system answers, follow the voice prompts.

 

CAMP-ON
bulletUpon receiving a busy signal when calling an extension, dial 2.
bulletStay off-hook and wait for the called extension to answer.

 

CONFERENCE
bulletPlace/receive the first call.  (The outside call must be the first call.)
bulletPress the TR/CON key.
bulletPlace the next call.
bulletPress the TR/CON key.  Conference established.


DO NOT DISTURB
bulletWithout lifting handset, press the DND key once(to block pages) or twice(to block all incoming calls).
bulletPress a third time to cancel DND.


HOLD
bulletPress the HOLD key once, or press twice for Exclusive Hold.
bulletTo retrieve an outside call on hold, press the blinking OUTSIDE LINE key.
bulletTo retrieve an intercom call on hold, press the HOLD key.


INTERCOM CALL
bulletLift the handset.
bulletDial the desired extension.  Dial 0 for the system operator.  To ring a phone programmed for voice announce, dial 1 and the desired extension.


LAST NUMBER REDIAL
bulletLift the handset.
bulletPress an idle OUTSIDE LINE key.
bulletDial #.


MESSAGE WAITING
bulletTo leave a message waiting indication after dialing an extension, press the MESSAGE key.
bulletIf someone has left you a message, your MESSAGE key blinks.  Lift the handset and press the MESSAGE key to call the person who left you a message.


MODE CHANGE TO HANDS FREE
bulletPress the HF key and then hang up.


MODE CHANGE TO HANDSET
bulletLift the handset.  Do not press any key.

 


NIGHT ANSWER
bulletLift the handset.
bulletPress the NIGHT ANSWER key, or dial 79.


ORBIT
bulletWhile on a call, press the TR/CON key.
bulletDial the 2-digit orbit zone 50 to 59.  Confirmation tone is heard indicating the call was placed in orbit.  If the orbit zone is busy, you hear dial tone immediately.  Dial another zone.


OUTSIDE CALL
bulletLift the handset.
bulletPress an idle OUTSIDE LINE key.
bulletDial the desired number.


PAGE
bulletLift the handset.
bulletDial the desired 2-digit page zone 60 to 69.
bulletAnnounce page after tone.
(Zone 60 pages all zones)


PROGRAM A DSS KEY
bulletWithout lifting the handset, press the PROGRAM key.
bulletPress the desired DSS key.
bulletDial the desired extension number.


PROGRAM STATION SPEED
bulletWithout lifting the handset, press the PROGRAM key.
bulletDial the desired 2-digit bin number, or press the STATION SPEED key.
bulletDial the telephone number.
bulletPress the PROGRAM key.


SPLIT
bulletPress the blinking SPLIT key.  The first call is placed on hold and the second call is connected.  Use the SPLIT key to toggle back and forth between calls.

 

STATION CALL BACK
bulletPress the CALL BACK key within 5 seconds of reaching a busy extension.
bulletHang up.
bulletWhen the called extension is free, your phone will ring with a triple ring.  Lift the handset.
bulletPress the CALL BACK key.
bulletWait for the called party to answer.

 

STATION SPEED DIAL
bulletLift the handset.
bulletPress an idle OUTSIDE LINE key.
bulletPress the PROGRAM key and dial the desired 2-digit bin number.
bulletOR
bulletPress the desired STATION SPEED key.


SYSTEM SPEED DIAL
bulletLift the handset.
bulletPress an idle OUTSIDE key.
bulletPress the PROGRAM key, and dial * and the desired 3-digit bin number.
bulletOR
bulletPress the desired SYSTEM SPEED key.


TRANSFER
bulletWhile on a call, press the TR/CON key.
bulletDial the desired extension number.

bulletLift the handset.
