Executone CX Quick Reference Guide

Intercom Call:
Lift handset and dial the intercom number or press the DSS/BLF key.
If the phone you are calling is in the TN position it will ring until picked up.
If the phone is in the HF or PV position you will hear 3 tones. (Begin talking after the tones)

Paging:
Lift handset and dial the page zone, for all zones dial #0. When you hear the tone, speak and then hang up.

Call Transfer:
While in the call, press the TRANS key and then dial the extension number. Announce your call and hang up.

Conference Call:
Call the first number, or dial an extension.
Press the CONF key. (Party is put on exclusive hold)
Call the next number.
Press the CONF key twice.

Do Not Disturb:
Press the DND/FOR key while on-hook or when the phone is ringing. (DND Led will light)
Press DND/FOR again to turn it off.

Redial:
Press the SPEED key then dial "*"

Speed Dial:
To Program:
Press SPEED twice
Dial a bin number between 00-19.
Dial the number to be stored. (Use the HOLD key for pause)
Press SPEED again, then the MON key to hang up.

To Use:
Pick an outside line.
Press the SPEED key
Dial the bin number

Message Waiting:
If you call another extension and there is no answer of they are in DND, press the CALLBK key and hang up. The other party's CALLBK Led will light and they can press it to instantly call you back.

Call Forward:
Lift the handset and press the DND/FOR key.
Dial the extension you want your calls forwarded to.
To remove call forward, pick up the handset and press the DND/FOR key, then hang up.

Set Message:
Messages will only be shown on LCD phones calling your extension.
With the handset down dial "72" then the number of the message you want.
Then press the MON key.

01 = OUT TO LUNCH
02 = ON VACATION
03 = OUT OF OFFICE BACK AM
04 = OUT OF OFFICE BACK PM
05 = OUT OF OFFICE BACK TOM
06 = OUT OF OFFICE BACK UNKN
07 = OUT OF TOWN
08 = IN A MEETING
09 = AT HOME
10 = AT BRANCH OFFICE

Repeat steps and use "00" to cancel messages
