Connecting a computer to an Executone IDS system for programming.

Most terminal emulation programs will not work with the IDS.
You need Procomm Plus or XTalk with TVI920 emulation.

Baud: 9600 (can be changed from within programming)
 

108 & 228 Systems:
RS232 ports are port 1 and 2 & 5 through 10 using digital data interface
Ports 3 and 4 are RS422 used for Operator Terminal

ACPU, PVJ is correct, the RJ45 on the CPU is for Flash Memory and NSS connection.
You need to hook up the computer at the MDF panel. It should have two RS232 and two RS422 connectors on it.
