Isoetec KSU Description
Many of the Isoetec KSUs look very much alike. It is important to know which one you have because they all install and program differently.

The EZ 18, 24, and 36 all look very much the same. They all have tan plastic or metal covers that are not flat but thicker at the top.
EZ-1/18 At the bottom, going left to right, there is 1 phone plug, then a group of 6 phone plugs, then another single phone plug. No displays or other types of plugs.
EZ-1/24 This is the only flat pack system that can run the 25 key display phones. It also has a 25 pin RS-232 type plug on the bottom center for programming with a laptop computer. At the bottom, going left to right, there is 4 phone plugs, then the 25 pin RS-232 plug. If there is an expansion card installed there will be 2 more phone plugs above the group of 4.
EZ-1/36 This one has a old display in the bottom right that is constantly displaying information when the system is powered up. It is also the only flat pack that can have an expansion cabinet to the right that looks almost exactly the same and is attached with two fat ribbon cables. At the bottom, going from left to right, there are 6 phone plugs, then the large display, then one single phone plug.

These systems are large metal boxes with a flat, tan, metal cover. They use large cards that slide in to add more phone and line ports. They both have large black metal power supplies attached to the right side. The power supply should have a sticker on it with the number 66 or 96 depending on which system you have.
