The Executone / Isoetec operators-programming terminal is a modified Wyse
60 CRT. It is used on the IDS system, as well as some of the older Isoetec phone systems
for programming and for system information. An operator can use this terminal to monitor
all line and station usage. We've seen many repaired
terminals by other companies and
even direct factory repairs.
Some of the parts that go bad in
these CRTs are expensive and
most, if not all, other
companies will replace ONLY the
components required to get it
back up and running. At Priority
One, we replace ALL the
components that go bad
frequently.

The small gray box that the terminal sits on is actually a
telephone. (if you have that option) If your CRT died on you it is most
likely the power supply or the high voltage section, both inside the terminal itself. You
only need to send the terminal itself in for repair. The gray box, keyboard, and
handset are probably all right and there is no need to send them in unless you were having
trouble before the monitor died. |
