Note: Comdial discontinued the Unisyn line. There are not very many of these systems or parts available on the refurbished market. It would not be a good idea to purchase this system or install this system in a new location as replacement parts are already hard to come by.

The hook switch plastic pivot on the Unisyn phone is similar to the Comdial Impact. Over time, with heavy use, the plastic snaps will wear out and the hook switch will pop out and no longer work until it is repaired. We add additional support to every Unisyn phone, even if the hook switch looks and works perfectly.

The handsets on the Unisyn phones are not the standard K-Style handset. The design is unique to the Comdial Unisyn, Impression and Impact phones. There are two types of these handsets from Comdial that look virtually identical however the older style will not work on the newer Comdial phones because of a very slight difference in the angle the handset rests on the phone. Older handsets on newer phones will not press the hook switch down far enough to activate it! The newer style will work on both the older Comdial phones AND the newer phones like the Unisyn. We have new Comdial Unisyn handsets available for sale!

Even though the Comdial Unisyn is a digital system, it requires 4 wires to be installed at each phone location.
