Comdial system description

Hopefully you know where your phone system KSU is and there is a part number sticker on the side. It should be an address size label, most likely with an American Flag and "Made in the USA" printed on it

KSU Model numbers:

Executech (usually tan color) The Executech will only have these phones: 3503, 3508, 3598, 6414

Executech II (Could be tan or black) The Executech II can run the Executech phones (above)  if the ports are programmed for the older phones but most likely will have phones with a 4 digit model number starting with 66 or 67 (6614, 6706 etc.) However there are a lot of Comdial models that will run on the Executech II system

Digitech  and Impact (Most are black but we have seen blue as well) Digitech phones have 4 numbers and start with a 7 (7700, 7714 etc.) Impact phones also have 4 numbers and start with an 8 (8012, 8024 etc.)

Note: The actual phone system is the same for the Comdial Digitech, Impact and Impression phones. The software cartridge version determines which phones will work on the system.

Unisyn (Should be black) Unisyn phones have a 4 digit part number that starts with a 1 (1022, 1122)

Note: All Comdial phones have a 4 digit model number with letters after the 4 numbers. The letters signify speaker phone, non-speakerphone, color codes and a few other options.
