Back To Bad Guy Barclay Enterprises
This complaint includes blatant lies (explained below). This was obviously intended to harass.
| Hemichallenger's BBB complaint: |
| Priority one shows a picture of a rubber keypad to repair panasonic phones. They even claim that they send "Improved Rubber Keypad" but all they send you is a "conductor" and a "spacer" and apparently they call this a "rubber keypad." The picture in their ad show a rubber keypad like I was expecting to get. All I got was parts that I suppose are suppose to fix my keypad. I have repaired about 10 of these phones and you have to have the "rubber keypad" to repair them. The conductor won't repair the phone by itself. I have bought these items from other vendors and have always received the keypad. They charged me as much for the conductor as everyone else charges for the keypad. Their picture even shows the keypad so they make you think you are getting a keypad when really all you get is a conductor which isn't "rubber." The conductor is just a thick piece of paper with some sort of slick plastic on one side. Their ad implies you get a rubber keypad and their picture has the rubber keypad in the picture but they don't send that too you. They charge only 20 cents less than everyone else who sends you the rubber keypad. I don't know how they claim that a piece of cardboard is actually rubber. I can't feel or see any "rubber" on the conductor. Their ads are very misleading because they use the word "rubber" and they show you a picture of a keypad. They don't send a keypad. They just send a piece of paper that repairs your keypad apparently. They seem to think that this doesn't misrepresent what they send you but they show you a picture of something they don't give you and charge you just as much as people who do send you the keypad. |
| Settlement sought: |
| Because of their rudeness and
because they don't read very well. I want a rubber keypad, a refund, a
letter of apology and I want one of my other phones repair at their expense
as punitive damages. |

Blatant lies
They even claim that they send "Improved Rubber Keypad"
No such claims are made
apparently they call this a
"rubber keypad." We call it a "membrane" keypad
I have repaired about 10 of these phones
and you have to have the "rubber keypad" to repair them.
You already have a rubber keypad if you are repairing a
defective rubber keypad.
Their ad implies you get a rubber keypad Not in a single
place
I don't know how they claim that a piece of cardboard is actually rubber.
Cardboard?? Not a single speck of cardboard (not even in
the packing material or bubble envelope mailer)
Their ads are very misleading because they
use the word "rubber" and they show you a picture of a keypad.
The pictures of rubber keypads are not emphasized like
Techguy5597 and all contain bold text stating clearly that it is not
included with a link "Click Here" to buy one.
Our membrane keypad was clearly described in the

Meanwhile... Barclay Enterprises shows you this....

(Left) is the known defective OEM
keypad
(Right) is the OEM keypad with a membrane placed over it
You cannot tell from this picture that the Perma-Pad™ is a membrane keypad just
like ours. It is intentionally set up to look like a real improved rubber
keypad.
Hemichallenger does not believe this is misleading!?
