Repair KX-TGA400b &
KX-TGA200b
With the ONLY available improved rubber keypad |

Panasonic KX-TGA400b & KX-TGA200b Keypad Warranty Scam
Barclay
Enterprises, Inc.
2275 LaCrosse Ave #201
Colton, CA 92324
|

|
Within hours of our first
KX-TGA400b eBay repair auction, Barclay knew they were in trouble.
We had an improved keypad to repair the poorly designed OEM keypad
causing all the problems. They needed to do something and fast!
Barclay didn't waste any time.
Canceling his auction early, he re-listed with a lie claiming
"Panasonic had re-designed the keypad thus
eliminating the original problems"
Unfortunately that was only the simple beginning of the seemingly
endless Barclay Keypad Fraud.

Barclay Enterprises Timeline

|
Currently Barclay
is using deceiving pictures to fool customers into believing they
have an improved rubber keypad. They are also flat out lying,
claiming to have "the original" improved keypad and lifetime
warranty when they not only blatantly copied both from us but
attacked the very same for over a year before copying them. |
|
Membrane
keypads are cheaper.
If they were truly better we would still be using them. |

Proven!
|
Barclay Enterprises so called "permanent" keypad is a
blatant copy of our old membrane keypad.
 |
Barclay claimed our membrane keypad
would break your phone for over a year. Then they blatantly copied
it and claim they have the only one.
|
 |
Barclay falsely claimed the original
keypad had been revised. (quote: "thus
eliminating any possible shortcomings of the original version.")
They sold hundreds of flawed OEM keypads with a
(self-voiding) 2-year warranty. Now they admit the OEM keypad
contacts are too small.
|
|
Proven!
|
Barclay Enterprises "Lifetime Warranty" is SELF VOIDED by the
exact reason the keypads break! They made up a
fictitious "spittle" theory to explain the oily build-up inside
the OEM sealed rubber gasket keypad. This build-up is considered abuse
by Barclay because you eat and drink (and spit) when talking on the phone.
However, the build up is oil based and seeps from the original OEM
Panasonic keypad... the same keypad their "improved" membrane
relies on to operate.

NOT spit.

Barclay's Extended AND Lifetime Warranty are voided by the lie
of "spit" |

Even their regular warranty is voided by the following:
this warranty shall be void if the
equipment or component is damaged
or rendered unusable by reasons including,
but not limited to, misuse, abuse,
excessive use or dirt, improper installation or operation,
power surge or failure, or any other peril, natural or manmade.
Excessive use??? Who gets
to decide what excessive use is on a business telephone? |

Barclay Enterprises unwittingly admits that 'environmental gunk' is
really oil seepage.

Deceptive Advertising
Barclay Enterprises shows
you this
to make it appear as if you are buying a rubber keypad with
large contacts |
 |
|
However, the "Perma-Pad" is really just
a membrane sticker. |
|
|
This
is the Perma-Pad™
This is also the Pad-Mate™
Why have two different names, both trade
marked for the same part? |
|
 |
|

 |
At the top of
their "Improved Keypad" auction they show a picture of what looks
like a complete rubber keypad with large black conductive contacts.
HOWEVER! The "improved keypad" is a paper thin CLEAR sticker
membrane with black painted circles. The pictures here show an
original OEM Panasonic keypad with Barclay's copy of our membrane
repair stuck to it.
This is an intentional trick to make people believe they are
getting a real 3-dimentional improved rubber keypad.
Blatant Lie: "The
industry's only truly improved keypad.." |
| Barclay includes a simple
description of the real "improved" part of the keypad in a small
area in the center of the auction... they KNOW most people will not
read every detail and will focus on the top and bottom of the ad.
Pad-Mate™
Perma-Pad™ |
 |
At the bottom of
the auction is another larger picture showing the Perma-Pad.
However, you cannot tell from this picture that the larger contacts
are from painted circles on a clear, paper thin sticker. The small
contacts (on the left) push down only on the center of the
conductive sticker (right) and do not significantly increase the
size as the description claims.
Blatant lie:
No other keypad on
the market --- including other "improved" keypads --- has bigger
button contacts! |
Proven!
|
Barclay Enterprises takes extra steps to hide
misleading statements. When you list an auction on eBay, the text
becomes a permanent record for about 12 months. Barclay now
changes misleading statements (such as "FCC Authorized") to
graphics while leaving other areas untouched. The only reason we
can think of to do this is because they can then change the
graphics (stored on their own server) any time they run into
problems. |
Proven!
Barclay continues to confuse customers with
false information about why the original keypads break. Their
"permanent" keypad still relies on the original defective keypad
to work and they need these lies to continue.
They falsely claim the sticky oil
from the OEM keypad is spit. In our opinion, any
person with even the slightest knowledge of the
internal workings could not possibly believe this.
Barclay's termed "environmental gunk" that builds up in the keypad
is not spittle or food particles!
 |
Cheaply designed keypads seep oil. This is a undeniable
FACT.
Engineering forum on the topic |
 |
The
sticky oil cannot be from food or spit! It is found in 100% of
these phones and is exactly the same in every single one. In
fact, as the keypads yellow from age, so does the oil. |
 |
Just
to eliminate any possible doubt, we crushed a few brand new
Panasonic keypads between paper and steel plates using a
machine press. Wouldn't you know it... spittle came out!
soaking the paper!! Amazing... those Japanese must be spitting
on the mold to allow easy removal of the final product. There
is no other possible explanation (say's Barclay) |
 |
The
rubber keypad forms a rubber gasket seal. Food and spittle
cannot get in. You can dunk these phones in Pepsi Cola and it
will not get inside the keypad. |
 |
Barclay reverently denied the other very obvious problem with
the original keypad for over a year. Now they admit they
knew the conductive contacts were too small in their own
advertisements. |
 |
Corrosion is from condensation not spit and is
found inside some phones but not under the rubber
keypad. |
So, how did Barclay "bust the myth"? Obviously
not with tests or research... just plain Barclay bull.
