Illegal harassing
phone calls to our Toll-Free phone line.
Early 2006 we received many computerized phone
calls using rotating phone numbers (all with California area codes) to
our toll-free phone line. These calls started a few weeks after our
first eBay repair auction listing. The calls continued until we
contacted our local law enforcement agency and had a trace placed on the
calls.

Someone in California, who was
very familiar with telephone service (how to harass someone without being
found) set up this attack. Coincidentally, at the very same time,
Barclay Enterprises (AKA techguy5597 also located in California)
had completely redesigned their eBay auction listings with multiple
false allegations and warnings aimed specifically at our repair service
for Panasonic KX-TGA400b telephones.
At that time Barclay's latest
advertisements made specific new statements that reflected minor details
on our main web site. Along with commenting on our policy of cleaning
the phones we repair, we assume at that point they also read about how
we preferred not to receive phone calls.
